I recently purchased a John Deere 855D Gator to use on my property. Although the Gator is a really nice machine, it had so much potential that wasn’t being used. I did some research, and determined that I could get much more productivity if I could use my current 3 point hitch implements. Since I no longer had a tractor, this seemed a logical step. I had no idea just how effective the Gator could be with the UTVHitchworks 3 point hitch. I determined that I wanted the Sport G as it adds a hydraulic system to your machine, and in the back of my mind, I was planning my next Gator project, a hydraulic dump bed. I took delivery of the UTVHitchworks Sport G and installed it on the Gator. It was well built and everything about said, tough and durable. It is really built sturdy and I was going to test it out. The first venture was using a 6′ heavy duty landscaping rake. It worked perfectly scraping 1/2 mile of roadway and a number of off road trails. Next came a tougher test. I had severe erosion issues on a gun range and needed to relocate a lot of washed out gravel and sand. I attached a medium duty 5′ blade and went to work. The 500 lbs. of downward force just cut into the washed material and the Gator diesel easily moved hundreds of pounds back up the hill to the range. As they say, it was a piece of cake using the UTV hitch and blade. All in all, the investment in the UTVhitch was the best route for me. In the end, I picked up a hydraulic cylinder and had NAPA make me two lines for the dump bed. I added the quick connect couplings and now just switch lines when I need the dump bed. All in all the experience working with UTVHitchworks and their staff has been a 10 out of 10.

I purchased a Farmboy 3-point hitch for my John Deere 825i and more than doubled the use of the Gator! I have shop built several attachments and am amazed at how much more use I get out of my Gator. From splitting firewood, tilling garden plots and moving pallets of
landscaping stones it is the best improvement I could have ever invested in to ease my workload. Look forward to building more attachments this winter. It is a well made hitch and a neat looking package – even my J.D. dealer commented on how good it looks.
Thanks for your great product!

I am a proud owner of the full set – Farmboy/Plowboy – as well as the selector switch kit and I have been very happy with ownership from purchase through today. UTV Hitchworks (when I called I got the owner!) talked me though a couple minor issues I had with installation on my Kubota 1140 CPX and went the extra mile in service after the sale. To date, I use the snowplow to clear my driveway and my neighbors, I have planted several food plots using a two-row JD Flex 71 planter, amassed a bunch of firewood with a 3 pt. hydraulic log splitter attachment and sprayed both my food plots and my lawn using a 60-gallon 3-pt sprayer attachment. And nary a breakdown yet.
The UTV Hitchworks units are well-made (in the USA!), rugged and reliable. Thanks UTV Hitchworks!

What products did you purchase from UTV Hitchworks?
> Farmboy for Kubota RTV 900
Was the installation easy? If not, how could it be improved?
> It was pretty straightforward. Some parts of the installation were tight quarters but it was fairly simple to work around that.
Are you pleased with the performance of your products?
> Works very well. The documentation wasn’t clear about the lift height, so you graciously made us some shorter lift arms, now it works fine.
How are you using the products you purchased from UTV Hitchworks?
> Use it primarily for creating food plots. I use a 48″ disc behind the RTV. The 3 point hitch allows me a lot of flexibility to get around in tight spaces (rather than trying to back up something that short).
Is there any feedback not covered by the previous questions that you would like to give UTV Hitchworks?
> Product is very unique and very well built. I have had no problems, but I have only had it one season. I hope to add additional implements, likely a landscape rake, etc. One suggestion would be to link to products, on your website, that are of the quality, weight, height, etc. that would work well with the Farmboy. I obviously bought a disc that was too tall, having one that I knew would work would have been good for me.

Our company purchased a Farmboy 3-point hitch which we used to support a towed radiation detector array behind a Kubota 4X4. Our process was to raise the towed array during transport and then to lower the array when we reached the destination.
The installation was very easy. The one thing that we found that could be improved upon with this product is the addition of sway chains or something else to lock the hitch from being able to sway.
